In some instances we are able to offer for your dog stay in the loving, pet safe home of one of our veterinary nurses whilst your away. This option is available for small dogs only (under 10kg). During their stay your dog will enjoy quality human time, daily walk, a warm bed inside and outdoor playtime. Quality food (Science Diet) is provided during the stay or you can provide your dogs own meals. Your dog will also receive a complementary bath.

Our qualified veterinary nurses are experienced with special needs such as the care of diabetics, seizure disorders & eye care and can administer necessary medications as required.

Unvaccinated dogs are welcome via prior negotiation

Our Stay with a Veterinary Nurse service is for current Newington Pet Care clients and for new clients by prior assessment and arrangement only. Dogs must be regular indoor dogs with suitable manners.

Live In Rates

$70 per night (regardless of the number of pets requiring care). Includes feeding, walking, administering medication and cleaning up after your pets and at least a one hour walk per day.

Dog Stay Rates

One dog (over 6mths of age) $60 per night

Second dog (from same household) add $40 per night

Puppies - unfortunately we are unable to accommodate puppies under 6 months of age.

Diabetic & other special needs - add $10 per day

PLEASE NOTE: Dogs per night is charged per 24 hour period from time of arrival. 24 - 29 hours add $30. >29 hours is charged as second night.

Pick up or Drop off: $10 each way. No charge if combined with regular weekday walks.
